Many of you are asking about the possibility of pigeon shooting. While it is tempting to want to get out and about we are following BASCs guidelines that recreational shooting must stop. If you were to contact CWCC with regard to booking out to go pigeon shooting you will be refused.
Message from BASC:
Defra has reissued all the general licences in England with no significant changes to the conditions. We are still analysing the detail and will continue to update the website.
Natural Resources Wales has rejected a call from Wild Justice to revoke general licences in Wales. The latest updates can be found here.
Wondering why and how general licences came into being? Read our latest blog by BASC head of biodiversity Ian Danby here.

There are buoys around Rat Island used to indicate the fallout area/danger zone of the Army Ranges. These buoys have now been moved and the entire island is now deemed with the fallout area.
If you are arrive at Rat Island and the flags for the ranges are up (visible from Rat) then the ranges are in use and the committee advise you to vacate the island for your own personal safety.
Please be warned, we have been informed of some nasty metal debris in the mud on the marsh at Feldy, specifically on the 'point'. A member's dog was badly wounded after running into it on a retrieve. Committee members are checking out the area with a view to removing it where possible.
